Land Acknowledgment
We want to acknowledge that the land we use for programs was traditionally stewarded by the Sauk, Meskwaki, Wahpeton Dakota, Hoocąk, and Očhéthi Šakówiŋ people. We honor their deep connection to this land and their longstanding history as its stewards. We recognize the ongoing presence of Indigenous people and their vibrant cultures in our community. As we explore nature together, we strive to learn from their wisdom and become responsible stewards of the land ourselves.
